Brot für die Welt | Kanyama and Matero.
From the 3rd to the 6th of September 2024, The People’s Action for Accountability and Good Governance in Zambia (PAAGZ), with support from Bread for the World, held transformative workshops for women and youth in Kanyama and Matero constituencies.

The sessions focused on:
Building leadership capacity
Strengthening advocacy skills
Promoting civic participation

A sessions on Social Accountability and Public Resource Management, emphasized the power of citizens in ensuring government transparency. Participants learned that as principals, they have the legal and moral authority to demand accountability from leaders as their agents. This interactive dialogue reinforced the importance of civic engagement in promoting integrity and efficient use of public funds for essential services such as health, education, and infrastructure.
Through these engagements, participants gained tools to effectively hold leaders accountable and champion issues affecting their communities.
